The Schedule/ Itinerary:
February 12 - Friday
Morning - Arrival of Guests Room check-in and Individual free time
12-1:15pm Lunch at the hostel served by Charlie, owner of LakoPH and our resident vegetarian chef.
130-2:45pm - Opening Ritual and Flower Mandala Meditation
We open the gathering by making something together — a Flower Mandala. In this ritual of connection to self, space and community, we will bless the space, bless one another and bless our soul-selves, calling in the spirit of Love to guide each one of us home to our bodies and spirit, as well as harness the symbolic power of flowers and the mandala as a sign of sweet and nurturing circle of support.
3-4:45pm - Sayaw Daloy (Air)
Daloy Movement (or Sayaw Daloy) is an intuitive and meditative dance practice that embodies the 5 natural elements to get to self-discovery, self-care and self-sovereignty. In this particular Sayaw Daloy (Air) session, we will be guided into fully taking up space, in order to experience an inner vastness that is healing and liberating. We fully allow ourselves to just be. Warts and all.
5-6:15pm - Pamamaalam Sunset Meditation
Pamamaalam is tagalog for ‘saying goodbye’, but also ‘asking permission’. In this meditation, we will be releasing old grudges and hurts, and layers of an old and past self that no longer serve us, through a releasing meditation — with sand and water underneath our toes, and the setting sun in the magnificent horizon. We will also ask for blessings, guidance and clarity, as we feel a connection to everything within us and around us. To ask that we be allowed to open softly to the teachings and love of Pacha Mama (Mother Nature), so that our new self gets born with courage like the sun, the fire in the sky.
630-730pm Dinner
8-930pm - Sayaw Daloy (Earth) with musicians Nicky Ancheta and Van Agamanta
In this Daloy Movement practice, we will be cued into physical exercises that bring us into a state of security and trust in our body and our ‘subtle energy’ system. We will be moving and questioning what it really feels like to embrace our body as Home. And appreciate everything that it does for us on a moment to moment basis.
February 13 (Saturday)
8-9:30am - Breakfast served by Ocean Breeze Resort
10:15-12:00nn -Sayaw Daloy (Fire)
We mostly look for the One. We list down all ideas we want for an ideal lover. But have we tried being the One for ourselves? So that we can naturally be that kind of lover for another? In this session, we will move, embody and discuss—- who is the ideal lover? What is an ideal kind of loving? How can we be the love we are looking for? How can we be sensual, sexy and powerful with it? Movements, physical exercises and steps that encourage a healthy inner fire will be shared in this workshop. Get ready to awaken your passionate and fun self! And even discover your own kind of sexy.
12:30- 1:30pm Lunch served by Charlie
2-3:30pm - Sayaw Daloy (Water) with Facilitator, Muriel Cachola
What if Love really makes the world go around and it is everywhere and everything? And the real empowering work is opening the body up, specially in places wherein we’ve held trauma, tensed up or closed in, to OPEN. So love could flow. So love could be palpable for us to feel and receive. This session will utilize embodiment techniques for being a wise and receptive body, opening our energetic channels and ‘subtle energy’ system for deep, sustainable and magical love that perhaps is around and within us all along.
4:15-5:30pm - Paghilom Reiki Energy Healing Session
Paghilom is tagalog for healing. The setting sun and the sound of the waves as backdrop to this workshop, we will heal through self-reiki, pampering us with physical touch rejuvenation, and rest. Reiki means Universal Light. It is an ancient Japanese healing art form that uses physical touch thru the hands and channels universal light and energies. In this session, you will be given tools to do self-reiki that you can use anytime you feel stressed, overwhelmed or low. There is so much power from able to know and feel that you can self-heal. And that really, the true, powerful healer has been, and is, inside you all long.
630-7:45pm Dinner
8-9:30 pm - Chanting and Drum Circle with musicians Nicky Ancheta and Van Agamanta, with Meditation facilitated by Troy Bernardo and Tabula Rasa with Facilitator, Roe Santos
The primitive drumming circle is emerging as a significant therapeutic tool in our modern technological age. The drum is a deep and sacred element of ancient and indigenous cultures, as it is believed that the beat of the drum could be in sync with the heartbeat of mother earth. Coupling drumming with intuitive chanting and body-sounding as meditation practice, this session promotes healing and self-expression. We will also be singing with self-loving affirmations that will soothe our souls back into alignment with divine truth and wisdom.
February 14 (Sunday)
8-9am - Breakfast
9-11am - Sayaw Daloy (Ether)
As the last day and the specially celebrated Valentine’s Day, we will journey through celebrating self-love in a combination of moving meditation, soul-stirring music, and a non-competitive, body-based way of raising our consciousness and emotional frequencies.
We will use our body as a gateway into the Now moment. We will move freely and individually, swaying, sensing and interacting in an experience called “Daloy” or Flow.
Though we spend most of our time on the surface in daily ordinary existence, this session will quench our thirst to connect to this space within, to break through to bliss, to be swept into something bigger. And celebrate that our life is a magical manifestation of Love itself.
11:30-1pm Lunch with Cassie Umali, vegan chef and holistic wellness ambassador
2:30-4:00 PM - Valentines Day- Closing Celebration and Ceremony
A festive and meaningful Valentine’s Day ceremony with dancing and live music, this closing ritual will have us review our experiences together, coupled with some final transformative exercises that will remind us of our amazing value and worth. This session will also equip us with tools to take into our ever day life so the transition back home is smooth and loving.
